Dion Lee: Dion Lee is an Australian designer who’s had a lot of success in his native country. We interviewed him about two years ago when his buzz started growing there, and were excited to catch up with him at his first-ever London presentation. So were others-he earned rave reviews on Vogue UK and Style.com (his first-ever review on the site).

The clothes, in a palette of black, white, and red, were sharp, modern, and sexy, featuring chiffon, geometric shapes, and cut-out panels on dresses and suits. His inspiration came from the internal structures of the body. “I got the idea from construction of the body. [I was] looking at functions of the body, vein structures, and muscles and that’s kind of where the woven elements came into the collection,” he said.
