London was chock full of George Constanza-approved velvets in an array of dark, sombre colors at shows like Burberry Prorsum, Paul Smith and Topshop Unique. Is it now socially acceptable to drape oneself in velvet? Lucky for George, the first day of Milan continued that trend with Alberta Ferretti and Gucci showing their own takes on the lush looks.
