Finally, right? We learned back in August that Club Monaco would add ecommerce and now we finally have a launch date: Monday, March 26. And if you can’t wait that long, just become a fan of the brand on Facebook and you’ll be able to start shopping three days earlier on March 23.
They’re a little late to the ecommerce game, but we’re betting the wait has more to do with careful planning (like testing the waters by selling a few pieces through Shopbop) than reluctance or a lack of internet savvy. In fact, their online presence has always been really strong.
Their website is one of our favorites: They have a great Tumblr and have done cool collabs with bloggers–a couple of years ago they tapped Garance Doré to shoot their campaign and look book and, most recently, they’ve done a collaboration with Tommy Ton on a range of bags, which he shot on various street style stars during fashion month.
In addition to a full assortment of the brand’s spring 2012 collection, there will be new third party collaborations with Rachel Comey and Zoe Karssen, special web exclusive products, new editorial content and free shipping and returns through April.
