We are currently looking for a Sales Representative - Accessories. This job is located in New York.

Job Description: A creative accessories brand is seeking a highly motivated Sales Representative. You will be responsible for developing and executing a sales strategy that is in line with our brand values and mission, to create accessories rich in texture and organic in shape. The ideal candidate for this position will have previous experience with better and mass market retail accounts, as well as exceptional knowledge of leather goods.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Execute sales plan for assigned territory, distribution channels, product categories and key accounts.
  • Generate new business by prospecting, referrals, networking, researching, conducting private showings, attending trade shows, setting up appointments and visiting potential new customers.
  • Recommend leads and prospects in order to maximize sales in assigned territory.
  • Identify customer needs and maximize up selling and cross selling opportunities.
  • Present and sell products, programs and added-vales to the customers.
  • Monitor and track inventory of the individual sales lines.
  • Provide feedback to management on weekly sales reports, customer satisfaction, product quality, and program acceptance.

Requirements:

  • BA Degree, preferably related to Business or Retail
  • 5+ years experience
  • Background in accessories, leather industry is strongly preferred.
  • Excellent networking and sales skills.
  • Experience in developing and growing sales territories.
  • Passion for trend and style, a true understanding of fashion and function
