Death in the Front Row
This is one of the more macabre stories to come out of fashion week: 95-year-old Zelda Kaplan, a beloved socialite, fashion icon and humanitarian, passed away while sitting front row at Joanna Mastroianni’s show at Lincoln Center on February 15. The one silver lining is that Zelda, a spirited and adventuresome individual by all accounts, could be said to have lived her last moments to the fullest.
