Haider Ackermann
Ackermann’s name has been floated as a possible replacement from the very start. Back in June, the designer, who once interned for Galliano, told WWD that he’d been approached by different houses (though he declined to name any), and that he would “accept a house which might fit me and which I would feel comfortable with–but there are not many.” Hm…The rumor gained steam today when we reported that flowers had been sent to Dior addressed to “Monsieur Ackermann,” and that the designer was looking to hire a full-time assistant to work on an undisclosed new project.
