I must admit, the Lanvin show and party stole the show for day three of Paris fashion week. This is not to say I didn't see some other great stuff. I did. I saw to-die-for wedges at Pierre Hardy and sexy cowgirls at Isabel Marant. And I always, always, love the smiley models en masse finale at Sonia Rykiel. They look so happy! I hope they actually are!

But Alber Elbaz's fall collection for Lanvin, which marked his 10 year anniversary at the label, took the cake. Literally. The label put on a massive fete following the show, and there was cake and champagne and live music and foie gras balls and Tilda Swinton and Jessica Alba and Elbaz even got on the mike and sang "Que Sera Sera." A perfect song choice for the fickle industry he's managed to make it in. It was awesome. Oh and then I had dinner (at 11 p.m., when in Paris...) at Café de Flore with some friends from Elle, Glamour, Into the Gloss and Business of Fashion. It was a fashion internets after-party.

Take a look!
