The revival of ’90s supermodels continues. In her first Chanel campaign since that decade, Linda Evangelista is the newest face of Chanel Eyewear. She succeeds fellow ’90s supermodel and current (revived) Guess girl Claudia Schiffer. Should we just stop calling them ’90s supermodels and instead refer to them as forever supermodels? They can’t be stopped. Nor do they age.
The Love cover girl looks as gorgeous as ever in the simple but eye-catching ads. Chanel also released a series of black-and-white behind the scenes images of the campaign shoot, which shows Karl Lagerfeld doing his other day job–photographing the campaigns for every brand he’s involved with. He’s also seen using an iPad, so now we know he actually knows how to use one.
