This weekend marks the one year anniversary of the wedding of Prince William and Kate Middleton. Remember that one? Sarah Burton gown, lots of weird fascinators, maid of honor's spectacular ass? Well, according to reports, the happy (not-yet-pregnant) couple reportedly will celebrate quietly, because unlike their respective siblings, these two don't really party much. Maybe they'll just rent a movie and lie around in matching bathrobes.
Which is something they would totally do, and we have the photographic evidence to prove it. We don't know if it's planned or if these two are just that in tune with one another's aura, but they wear matchy outfits quite a bit. And it's totally adorkable (sorry, we'll never write that word again), even if they sometimes don't intend it to be. Click through to see some of our favorite looks from this dynamic duo.
For their official wedding photo, lensed by Mario Testino, the couple overdosed on starch for this matchy prep look. The only thing whiter than their button-downs are their pre-marital grins-- Kate and Wills: Putting English stereotypes to rest, one smile at a time.
Everyone knows Kate loves a good fascinator--but when the royal couple attended the Order of the Garter service last June, Wills wasn't about to let it go to her head (literally). The Prince topped his wife's topper with this fluffy fedora that made Kate's spindly feathers look less fascinating and frankly anorexic, and thus unsuitable for internet idolization.
The Royals wear matching navy blazers mainly on the plane. And everywhere else.
UGHGH tourists (eye roll). We can only assume and hope that Air Canada lost Kate and Wills luggage on the journey, leading to the newlyweds unwillingly being forced to purchase these matching red hoodies at a gift shop. Though even then, that's barely an excuse. Please, I need some artificial tears to cleanse my vision.
"I must say, Katie bird, we do look well fit in these matching navy blazer-types. Jolly good, ole Duchess, ole chap!"
"Oh, silly Willie, you're a right old wanker, you are! Hehehehe."
The Royals spent a portion of their North American tour filming a cameo for the hit Nickelodeon children's series Hey Dude.
For a stroll through Scotland, the couple dressed like giant beautiful matching thistles.
Just like the rest of us, Kate loves a man in uniform--so much so that she wasn't letting Wills have all the double-breasted fun. The Duchess looks divine in her McQueen coat, but we're loving the Prince's Louis Vuitton F/W '11-esque cap-- which was surely an intentional fashion choice.
When her better half's not around, Kate feels more secure just blending into the scenery. Finding the Duchess in this photo from Saint Patrick's Day is as impossible as picking out a four-leaf clover, don't you agree?
We wonder whether the couple's new spaniel puppy Lupo can tell his masters apart most days-- we certainly can't! Poor pup.
