There’s definitely an “Under the Sea” thing happening for summer. Versace’s spring show was covered with studded sea horses and shells. Chanel’s took the under water theme to a new level, with a white sand covered runway, seating that resembled waves, bubbles marking the models’ entrances and exits, and pearls a plenty. If three’s a trend (that’s the rule isn’t it?) then it’s officially the summer of the Little Mermaid. Miu Miu’s new sandals are more Sebastian than Ariel but just as chic. At $695 they’re a splurge but so is my dream vacation. Who else is ready for vacation?
