Are you an aspiring designer who also wants to support the Obama reelection campaign?

Soon, CFDA designers like Marc Jacobs and Diane Von Furstenberg won't be the only ones selling their pro-Obama merchandise through Obama 2012 fashion fundraiser Runway to Win. The Vogue-assembled website is now giving amateur designers (like you?) a chance to win as well. Billed as "a creative way to support the president," the Obama Biden campaign wants you to submit your design for a chance to have it sold on Runwaytowin.com

Participants must choose one of three templates--a women's oversized-fit raglan tee, a unisex fit crewneck tee or a jumbo tote bag--and have until May 1 to submit their designs. There aren't really any other guidelines, but we're guessing anti-Obama sentiments aren't going to win. After May 1, the campaign will narrow down the submissions to a select group of finalists, who will be put to a public vote. The winner gets the honor of having their design sold alongside the designs of Michael Kors and Derek Lam on the Runway to Win website AND will receive a fully produced version of their item signed by THE Anna Wintour. Could you die?
