As you’ve no doubt heard by now, if you ever go on the internet, Facebook bought photo-sharing app Instagram for a whopping $1 billion this week. While many things can be attributed to Instagram’s success, we’d venture to guess that fashion and beauty have had a significant impact as well. A recent adopter of Instagram (I have a Droid–don’t hate), I’m already addicted, as is just about everyone we know. It makes sense that the fashion industry has embraced Instagram–we’re constantly surrounded by things to take photos of and Instagram makes those photos pretty and easy to share.
