Here's family man Tom Cruise like you've never seen him before--at least not in a really long time--on another surprising, but definitely attention-grabbing W cover. As you may or may not be aware, Cruise is set to star as Stacee Jaxx in the big screen adaptation of Broadway musical Rock of Ages. Hence the long hair, gun tattoos, guyliner, nail polish and, we'll admit, a pretty impressive six eight(?)-pack.

Celebuzz got a sneak peek at the cover story, in which Cruise says of his Rock of Ages role, “I knew we had to push the sexuality because of the nature of the character and the songs." He's definitely pushing the sexuality here, wouldn't you say? Especially with the help he's getting from scantily clad models Abbey Lee Kershaw (who also has an interesting film role coming up) and a very handsy Edita Vilkeviciute.

What do you think of W's cover choice this time? Is it hot or just weird?
