Burn! Karl Lagerfeld Offers His Thoughts on Massages, Takes a Hilarious Dig at John Travolta

Obviously, Karl Lagerfeld is up on his tawdry tabloid scandals. New York caught up with the Kaiser at the amfAR Cinema Against AIDS Gala in Cannes last week and asked him about massages--who he'd like to get one from, who he'd like to give on to. It was a relevant and not pervy question considering Harvey Weinstein had auctioned off a massage by Heidi Klum as part of the event. As always, Lagerfeld had a strong, opinionated answer:

Obviously, Karl Lagerfeld is up on his tawdry tabloid scandals.

New York caught up with the Kaiser at the amfAR Cinema Against AIDS Gala in Cannes last week and asked him about massages--who he'd like to get one from, who he'd like to give one to. It was a relevant and not pervy question considering Harvey Weinstein had auctioned off a massage by Heidi Klum as part of the event. As always, Lagerfeld had a strong, opinionated answer:

"I hate massage and I don't believe in massage. I hate to be touched," he said. And when asked if there was anyone he'd like to give a massage to, he proved he can dole out zingers just as swiftly as he churns out collaborations:

"No, I’m not John Travolta."

To which we can only say, well played Mr. Lagerfeld, well played.
