A month ago, we reported that Carine Roitfeld would be the subject of a new documentary directed by Fabien Constant, who helped create that awesome mini-doc for W about the ex-Vogue editor’s exploits during couture week. Naturally, we couldn’t wait for more details to surface–and now they have.

According to Screen Daily, the new film will be called Mademoiselle C. and will be an “upbeat, fly-on-the-wall documentary” following Carine as she works on the launch of her new fashion magazine CR.

But it gets better: Constant was apparently granted “unprecedented access” to Roitfeld‘s personal and professional life, meaning among the myriad of candid scenes with the editor, we can also expect interviews from the likes of Tom Ford, Karl Lagerfeld, and Donatella Versace.

The shooting is still going on and will continue right up until the launch of CR in September, so there’s no telling yet just how many stars and fashion personalities (or high fashion hijinks) will crop up in the new doc–though Mademoiselle C. will be unveiled at Cannes this year by Paris-based international sales and acquisitions company Elle Driver, who is “launching sales” of the doc at the film festival. Hopefully this means more details will trickle in soon.
