We were lucky enough to get a peek at Madewell's Fall 2012 collection back in April, and have been pretty smitten with it since. Now that we've got our hands on the look book, and seen the collection styled to perfection on the models, it's possible we're even more in love than before.

The theme of this collection is "taking tradition and turning it on its head," a job that's artfully accomplished with quirky, magnified plaids, houndstooth and leopard prints, and a bold color palette. We're particularly feeling the sheep printed sweater, color blocked cardi and classic letterman jacket--offbeat tomboy chic at it's best.

One of the reasons I always love flipping through Madewell's look books (besides the covetable clothes) is the perfect and completely wearable styling. There are seriously lessons on every page--from the use of quirky socks to the new, unexpected ways to mix patterns and colors. Best of all, while the clothes won't hit stores until fall, you can pick up all their styling tricks now. And for free at that.
