Looks from the "Designers of the Year"

Indeed, I couldn’t have imagined making anything that the bevy of exceptionally talented students sent down the runway. The student Designers of the Year were (see some of their looks, above): Women’s Wear Designer of the Year Jin Kay, 25, from Seoul, South Korea; Menswear Designer of the Year Christy Jeehyun Lee, 25, from San Francisco; and Children’s Wear Designer of the Year Giuliana Raggiani, 22, from Boston. After the runway show some students posed with their models for a spread in V magazine (where we’re quite sure their wares will make appearances again in the future.)

And can I just say all runway shows should start with children’s wear? A tiny hipster-in-training in suspenders and clunky plastic eyeglasses (at right) stole the first few minutes of the show.
