The Brits are ramping up for the Queen's Jubilee celebration this week, and Buckingham Palace threw its version of a BBQ this afternoon. OK, so technically it was a garden party, complete with tea, crumpets, and 8,000 well-wishers, according to Grazia.
Kate Middleton popped by to greet guests, wearing something that looked pretty familiar. Remember that $2,000 pink Emilia Wickstead dress she wore to a luncheon a few weeks ago? Well, the cost per wear just went down to $1,000 because as soon as she got it back from the dry cleaners she put it on this morning and headed out to Buckingham Palace.
This is why we love the Duchess. We sometimes wear the same thing three times in one week (admit it, so do you) so the fact that Kate is wearing her expensive dress more than once--and recycles outfits often--is refreshing. Royalty really IS just like us. She accessorized a little differently and threw on a pretty pink fascinator suitable for a royal garden party.
What do you think about the Duchess' penchant for wardrobe recycling?
