I thought nothing could make me laugh harder today than the Post and Daily News' covers about the crazy tanning lady (seriously they're so good). But then I stumbled upon this video of the Man Repeller's Leandra Medine spoofing Lana Del Rey's "Video Games" as, wait for it, Lean Del Ra and could. not. stop. laughing. There is matzah involved. Lots of it. And a teddy bear.

We had to ask Medine how this genius bit of video came about. "I shot it with two of the Man Repeller photographers--Naomi Shon (who shot and edited) and Chuck Grant--they were over on a Saturday and we intended to shoot blog looks but I got really wrapped up in the Frank Sinatra concert special on PBS and couldn't stop singing and gesticulating along to it--at which point Chuck renamed me Lank Sinatra and the idea of creating a series of spoof videos was born," she explained. "Parody-ing 'Video Games' first was a pretty natural progression because Lana del Rey happens to be Chuck's sister so we sing along to her pretty often anyway." I think that pretty much means Del Rey has given Medine her blessing with this one.

As for the matzah, aka my favorite part?

"Spreading cream cheese on matzah to the song's intro was just the kiss of Jew I think the video needed, you know," Medine said. Yes, I do. And, yes, it was.

Watch the full video below. Prepare to LOLZ. More spoofs please.
