Odin has become NYC's one stop shop for cool, stylish-yet-masculine men's clothing, accessories and grooming products from a well-edited mix of labels like Thom Browne, Phillip Lim, Burkman Bros and Comme des Garcons. Owners Eddy Chai and Paul Birardi have since grown Odin into a bit of a brand: there are now three Manhattan locations, a lovely jewel box of a women's boutique called Pas de Deux, and a line of unisex fragrances and candles (which are currently available at a cool pop-up shop/art installation on east 11th), though their reach has mostly been New York-centric. Until now.

It's just been announced that Odin will be part of the second installment of The Shops at Target: a new retail concept in which off-the-beaten-path shops do one-off collections of products for the mass retailer. The first installment hit Target stores last week and featured collaborations with The Webster and Cos Bar. Earlier this week, Target announced that Soho boutique Kirna Zabete, which basically stocks our dream wardrobe, would also be a part of The Shops' second installment, which is set to hit stores in August.

While Kirna Zabete's womens offerings will be more up our alley, us being women and all, we're glad dudes will have some stylish options as well. According to Target's blog, Chai and Birardi designed a collection of sweaters, henleys, button-downs, pants, shoes and accessories. Kirna Zabete's Sarah Easley and Beth Buccini's collection will include tops, dresses, skirts, pants, outerwear and accessories. While Odin does produce a small in-house line, neither retail pair has designed such a comprehensive collection, so it will be interesting to see what they come up with!
