In a limo ride ADR shared with the Telegraph (jealous!), the editor said:
“In the beginning [being photographed for street style] was a little embarrassing. But sometimes now I think: ‘Oh, if I do not get photographed I will be miserable’, or ‘Oh my god, the outfit does not work any more.’”
Her dedication to wearing some of the harder-to-pull-off (and uncomfortable-looking) runway creations is starting to make a whole lot more sense. Speaking of which, here’s what Dello Russo had to say about the hat she wore to Sunday’s Prada show (pictured at left):
“This? Oh, it was a Peruvian doll on top, made by Alan Journo, who is the man who makes all my hats . He bought it for me in Peru – I thought it was perfect for the men’s show.”
Obviously.
As for if she’ll ever design, ADR told the paper:
“No, I would never want to design because I know that to do it well is hard, hard, hard. I like being an editor, and seeing everything.”
H&M might be kind of surprised to hear that….
