For the Queen’s jubilee this weekend, Karl Lagerfeld not only gave live on-screen commentary for French TV channel France 2, he was also tweeting up a storm (or someone who works for him was).

And Karl being Karl, he had a lot to say–from Kate Middleton’s butt (“lovely”) to the Queen’s outfit (he was not a fan of the shawl) to the weather, which reminded him of Arthur Marquet’s paintings.

Lagerfeld also revealed that he begged his parents for his first TV so he could watch Queen II’s coronation. Now it’s come full circle. Who knew he was such a royals fanatic?
