The rubber soled creepers at Chanel's latest cruise show extravaganza at Versailles seemed a far cry from those blister inducing corn causers we usually see on the runways. Or were they?
Model Meghan Collison told WWD that despite Chanel being her "favorite" resort show so far this year, the mere mention of the luxe runway setting was enough to send Collison spiraling back into the painful memories that apparently were Karl's creepers:
"The only thing was those shoes! They destroyed the back of my feet. I was bleeding afterward. Hard plastic with no socks on? Not fun! Especially because we had rehearsal three times. I walked around for the next week with the backs of my moccasins folded down to let them heal! At least the shoes looked amazing."
Ouch! We totally feel her pain--we once had to go almost a whole week wearing those plastic foam bedazzled mesh slippers from Chinatown after a major blister fest. What does Karl have against peds? There totally could have been a future endorsement deal there.
Maybe this is all a part of Karl's master plan to collaborate with Doctor Scholl's? At this point, nothing would surprise us anymore...
