"Don't be tardy for the party." --Anna Wintour.

Well, not exactly. As you may have heard, Vogue EIC and known Barack Obama supporter Anna Wintour is co-hosting a dinner with the POTUS, first lady Michelle Obama and Sarah Jessica Parker, whose home will serve as the venue (Wintour's also hosting an event in Chicago). Based on the A-list host committee, it's safe to bet there will be other notable people there as well. And you could be one of them--any donation to the Obama-Biden campaign automatically enters you for the chance to attend the June 14 event with a guest and schmooze with Wintour and SJP and the Obamas, or just sit there, nervous and terrified, as I would probably do.

The event's gotten quite a bit of press and those of us on Obama's email list have gotten more than one cutesy email about it. Still, Anna Wintour wanted to invite you personally, face to face. Wearing the scarf Thakoon designed for Runway to Win, Wintour promises a "fantastic evening" and "the two best seats in the house." Things get a little scary at the end, as she concludes the video by saying, "Please join us, but just don't be late."

That would be pretty rude. We wonder what she would do to you if you were late? Cancel your Vogue subscription? Declare every piece of clothing you own out of style? We certainly wouldn't want to find out. Watch the video below.
