LOVE‘s issue 8 hits newsstands on July 30. To tease the release of the issue, Katie Grand and co. have been releasing bits and pieces to get us excited. And after seeing all the Downton covers for the “costume drama” themed issue, we are.

Today UK site MyDaily has a preview of a spread with Alessandra Ambrosio shot by Boo George. The site’s headline, “Alessandra Ambrosio Is About To Pop In Love Magazine” is pretty accurate as Ambrosio “popped” the next day.

What’s great about this shoot, besides the beautiful photos and how natural and make up-free Ambrosio is, is that she’s not naked! Because, let’s be honest, that Demi Moore/Vanity Fair pose is so played out–so much so that a pregnant model in a magazine wearing clothes actually seems kind of edgy. (Plus, Ambrosio’s already done the naked and pregnant thing.) Well played as usual, LOVE.
