Is it possible that John Galliano had a dinner date with Anna Wintour the very night his Dior successor, Raf Simons, presented his debut couture collection?

The Cut noticed these Instagram snaps of someone who looks a lot like Wintour dining with someone who looks a lot like Galliano at the Ritz in Paris earlier this week. Fashion sleuth/Instagrammer albertkcpang aka Albert Pang told The Cut he was “100% positive” it was Galliano.

We’re not “100% positive” since we weren’t there and it’s a blurry Instagram shot. Still, this isn’t the reported instance of Galliano taking a lunch with Vogue in recent months–fashion writer Dana Thomas tweeted that she spotted Grace Coddington lunching with Galliano in New York just this April.
