“We randomly see him, like, just on the street sometimes,” a Rag & Bone-clad Jackson told Vanity Fair at Monday night’s screening of Kruger’s latest film, Farewell, My Queen. “He’s an incredibly, marvelously interesting man. But it’s strange to bump into him; he’s sort of a larger-than-life presence, so it’s odd to see him on the street.”
Kruger then added that Karl “bizarrely loves Josh” (perhaps he’s also a Pacey fan? Karl Lagerfeld, he’s just like us?) and will ask how Josh is before asking how she is. What we’re jealous about, though, is that Kruger got to meet Choupette! “He’s obsessed,” she said. (No, really?) But, we did not know this: “An entire collection was inspired by his cat’s eyes.”
What?? Here we are getting excited about a Choupette handbag when there is secretly a Choupette collection? Which one? Our bet is on spring 2012 couture. The first photo of Choupette emerged a little over a week before the show in January and she was already 3-4 months old and her eyes look bluish and babies’ eyes are bluer and the spring 2012 couture collection was very blue, so…there you have it.
Here’s how we came to this super scientific conclusion:
Dhani: so we have to figure out which collection was inspired by choupette’e eyes
Leah: the last one?
are they blue?
Dhani: i can’t tell http://fashionista.com/2012/06/watch-video-evidence-of-choupette-lagerfeld-playing-with-an-ipad-plus-every-photo-of-her-so-far/choupette2/
Leah: omg that cat is cute
and if he got [Choupette] right before last couture
they would have been blue
baby eyes are bluer
Dhani: are baby cat eyes really bluer?
me: people babies are
maybe cat ones too?
that cat’s eyes look blue
