This sleek electric blue frock is by Stella McCartney, who designed the Team GB Olympic uniforms, which were criticized for being "too blue." The color looks lovely on the Duchess of Cambridge though. Stella isn't in Kate's usual stable of fave designers, and the last time she wore a Stella dress--which from a bit of digging looks like it was last summer--she garnered mixed reviews. It was also a dress that Madonna had worn (here), so that's a tough comparison to have to weather (well, probably Kim Kardashian is tougher...anyway).

She paired the dress with a gold Cartier Trinity necklace (which Grazia says cost a whopping $76,964--yeesh!) that looks suspiciously like a medal to us--And we kinda think she deserves one. She should win for "Bounciest Hair." Or "Most Times Wearing a Single Pair of Shoes." Oh speaking of shoes, she's wearing Prada here according to the Daily Mail, not LK Bennett.

All she needs is a Union Jack manicure, and she'll be ready for the Olympics next week. What do you think of Kate's latest look?
