Fashion shows usually start later than scheduled, but today's Stephane Rolland couture show got off to a particularly late start--an hour to be exact. The reason? Everyone was waiting for Kim Kardashian and Kanye West to arrive.

Kimye is attending their first couture shows together in Paris this week, and while we don't expect celebrities to get anywhere on time, an hour is a pretty long wait, especially for a room full of editors with packed couture schedules. The pair, in fact, got there so late, that Rolland's people were forced to start the show without them, according to a tweet by Red Carpet Fashion Awards' Katherine Kallon.

Of course, all the drama was documented on Twitter, and in the end it was WWD who assured the fashion-obsessed masses that the couple did make it to the show. Phew. The paper tweeted: "Kanye West and Kim Kardashian almost missed Stephane Rolland's couture show, taking their seats shortly before the finale. #couture"

Close call! Elle France snapped a photo of the nonchalant pair shortly after their arrival.

Now, we're the sort of people who are late for everything. Sometimes intentionally, most times not. But we're surprised that Kimye was so tardy, especially with Kanye being a womenswear *designer* and all. We can only imagine the tantrum that Mr. West might throw if a celebrity dared to keep him waiting at one of his shows!

We're hoping they've got a good excuse for this. What do you think? Was Kimye's late entry fabulous or just plain rude?
