It's been a while since we last went back-to-school shopping, but that shift from summer to autumn still reminds us of trolling the aisles of CVS for Trapper Keepers, cardboard folders, and pencils. But we weren't after just any old school supplies--it had to be all Lisa Frank, all the time.

Lisa Frank may have left our backpacks, but she's never left our hearts--and it seems like the fashion world is more ready than ever for a revival. First there was that fabulous Lisa Frank clothing line--minds blown. Then came Jeremy Scott's insanely amazing Lisa Frankified fall collection. There's even a slew of Lisa Frank character-inspired makeup tutorials on YouTube. Seriously.

Lisa Frank is sort of the Rei Kawakubo of the sticker and novelty industry, but now she's broken her reclusive silence and given a rare interview to The Daily. Lisa is a raspy-voiced divorced mother of two from Michigan who loves wearing Missoni and watching Project Runway. In fact, the self-professed "design junkie" loves PR so much that she's proposing an episode of the Lifetime reality show based around the Lisa Frank brand--and we couldn't support this idea enough! How has this not happened yet? Two candy challenges to date, and not a single Lisa Frank-themed ep? Atrocious. Frank also named the Olsens and Missoni as dream collaborators, but we think PR is probably a better and much more realistic fit.

So Tim, Heidi, extraneous Project Runway producers: Please give us (and Lisa Frank!) what we didn't know we've actually been wishing for all along. Give us a Lisa Frank-themed challenge--preferably involving coordinating Trapper Keepers as accessories, and Jeremy Scott as the guest judge. Look, we've already done half the work for you!

With love, every child of the 80s/90s. Oh, and we dare you to watch this faux bio teaser without falling over:
