It’s that time of year again. Nope, we don’t mean Comic Con–we’re talking about September glossy cover reveals. September issues are traditionally the cash cows for any fashion mag, and whoever graces the cover can make or break that month’s sales. Today WWD revealed a slew of covers–and we’ve added some reveals of our own.

Overall it’s not a very surprising list. They’re all celebrities, and generally fall into two camps: the tried-and-true Hollywood diva and the cute, popular up-and-comers. And with a few exceptions, all of these ladies have appeared on the titles they’re covering this September in the past. A good track record is obviously important. A few spoilers? Kim Kardashian didn’t land any covers, and neither did Gwyneth Paltrow or Kate Moss, both of whom can usually be counted on every year.
