The latest in what seems to be a trend of more mature ladies fronting fashion campaigns is Italian actress Isabella Rossellini as the new face of Bulgari. Annie Leibovitz shot the campaign, which debuted today and we think Rossellini, who we saw as recently as July on the cover of Italian Vogue's health initiative issue (and in new model doc About Face), looks lovely and elegant...and kinda familiar.

That's because Annie Leibovitz shot Rossellini back in 1986--that's 26 years ago--for a portrait with David Lynch and she basically looks exactly the same. The most notable similarities would be the identical simple black dress with one shoulder slipping off and slicked back hair. And that 26 year age difference? Not really noticeable at all.

Clearly, Leibovitz referenced that old photograph here and that's not necessarily a bad thing--though, she has been criticized in the past for reusing concepts and poses (like with Miley Cyrus and Anne Hathaway for example).

Regardless, we think Rossellini is a great fit for Bulgari and we like what Leibovitz did, even if she's more or less done it before. Which shot of Rossellini do you prefer?
