Laetitia Casta has done and seen a lot throughout her lengthy modeling career. Naturally, there have been some standout moments, one of which happened just this year: her 10-page, death-defying editorial in V's September issue, for which Karl Lagerfeld photographed her with his precious kitten Choupette.
So we are shooting on this balcony in front of the Eiffel Tower in Paris and I was so f*****g scared that Choupette would step back and fall off and that Karl would hate me forever because I killed his cat. The cat was like, "maaaiooowarrgh" and I was like, "gasp". I did everything with that cat. We even shot on the bed. The whole thing was about Choupette. And she has two nannies ... It was a weird job, when I think about it.
Amazing. We're not sure which is better: her (warranted) fear that Lagerfeld would hate her forever if anything happened to Choupette, or HB's spelling of Choupette's meow. If only there were video of Casta's Choupette impression.
