Prada’s campaign videos are always a sight to behold–and of course, for Fall 2012, the brand didn’t fail to deliver.

The just-released video builds upon the digital influence and video game theme established in the print ads. Shot by Steven Meisel, the clip stars models Magdalena Frackowiak and Anne Vyalitsina playing a chess-like game. But don’t be fooled: This is no ordinary board game. When masterminds Magdalena or Anne move a piece, fellow models Vanessa Exente, Madison Headrick, Elza Luijendijk and Iselin Steiro are forced to move in tandem, engaging in a strange, trance-like battle. Models: They’re just like pawns!

Altogether, the video creates a sense of high-fashion hypnotic urgency that makes us fall even more deeply in love with Prada‘s eye-catching, all-over prints. How long until someone makes our fashion-inspired video game dreams a reality?
