How to Make It in Fashion: June 21, Dream Hotel Downtown, New York

From Scott Disick Rolling Cigars to Grace Coddington Drawing Cats, Here Are the 12 Fashion’s Night Out Events You Need to Know About

It’s baaaack. Like it or not, Fashion’s Night Out keeps chugging along–and the official website for the globally expanding shopping extravaganza, now in its fourth year, is up and running.

As has become the norm for FNO (or what is more accurately a boozy Halloween for shopping enthusiasts), come September 6, stores across NYC and participating cities around the world will be doling out free champers, manis, swag, and contributing to horrible, infuriating traffic jams.

But what we most look forward to about FNO is finding out which brands have managed to wrangle the biggest (and sometimes extremely random) celebs… and what weird things they’ve gotten them to agree to do (see: Sarah Jessica Parker crooning with Oscar de la Renta, the Olsens bartending at Barneys). This year promises not only Kim Kardashian (duh, obviously she’d be there) but also her not-quite-brother-in-law, entertaining style-tryhard Scott Disick–who’s slated to teach a cigar rolling class? Perhaps even more exciting (understatement of the century?) are Grace Coddington‘s plans for the evening: She’s apparently collaborated with Balenciaga’s Nicolas Ghesquière on an accessories line featuring some artsy sketch drawings of her cat Pumpkin modeling iconic Balenciaga looks.

There are 34 pages of events listed on FNO’s official site. Sure, you could totally look through all of them, or you could trust that we’ve pulled out the 12 best/weirdest/awesomest/celeb-y-est events. Without further ado… our top picks for FNO 2012! Which one will you be heading to?
