Could you imagine a world without high-quality, well-designed calendars featuring photos of cats wearing designer outfits? Neither could we. At least, we don't want to.

This is why you need to help United Bamboo with their just-launched Kickstarter project to produce lots and lots of them.

Or at the very least watch the video. Motivated by the overwhelmingly positive response to their annual cat calendar (and how sad everyone was that they didn't make one for 2012), United Bamboo decided to spin it off into its own brand: Catclub by United Bamboo. "Catclub will be products with pictures of cats wearing United Bamboo. There will be many more products in the future and they will be all designed with serious intention and commitment to quality." So, the brand of our dreams? Sounds good.

I may be a little bit biased because I think cats are the best and had the privilege of attending the most recent cat calendar photo shoot, but I can honestly say that this is the first Kickstarter project I've actually wanted to give money to (um, sorry friends with non-cat-related Kickstarter projects!).

"The reason we decided on using Kickstarter is because we are treating this as a project for now," Thuy Pham, one of designers of United Bamboo, told us. "I'm hoping people will like it enough to support it. If I get support, I'm going to expand this project into other projects. I also like the format of the Kickstarter video. It allows us to describe the project in creative ways."

Plus, there are rewards. A pledge of $25 or more gets you a magnet and a poster; $40 gets you a calendar; $60 gets you all three; and so on. There's even 27" x 41" light box with your name on it if you have $1,200 lying around. As the cute guy in the video says, "Let's face it. Cat models cost a fortune!"

Watch the amazing video below (or on the Kickstarter page) and then do yourself a favor and at least pledge $40 and get a calendar. The 2011 one is still up both in my apartment and the Fashionista offices. It honestly improves lives even without having the correct dates on it!
