The impending arrival of autumn means more than just stocking up on velvet dresses and oxblood booties (though that's obviously a huge part of it)--it's internship time! So naturally, we, Fashionista.com, are on the prowl for talented fall interns at our New York office. And it could be you!

Interning here at Fashionista is an amazing and rewarding opportunity. As a former intern myself, I can truly attest! This isn't one of those go-fetch-me-a-grande-caffe-mocha-no-sugar-extra-dry internships--it takes serious fashion industry knowledge and a total willingness to learn. We need our interns to be well-versed on brands, designers, industry business leaders, models, editors, and photographers. You should be fashion news obsessed, a regular peruser of the blogosphere and fashion sites, and have a knack for finding under-the-radar news and interesting story ideas. You should be able to recite Choupette Lagerfeld's dietary demands at a moment's notice. Well, okay, maybe not that. But you get the picture.

Of course, strong writing skills in a fast-paced environment (and a fresh voice) are a must--and the ability to maneuver Wordpress and Photoshop is a major plus! We're seeking out seriously talented peeps--whether you're still in school or already have a degree.

So, want to be the newest addition to our lovely and amazing team? Just send your resume, cover letter, and writing samples to nora@fashionista.com with the subject line FASHIONISTA INTERNSHIP. You need to be based in NYC, have at least two free days a week, and be able to start early September. Can't wait to hear from you!
