Need an artsy pick-me-up this afternoon? Chanel has you covered. Sølve Sundsbø shot this charming little video to highlight the new additions to the Rouge Allure lipstick line. Chanel debuted the video on its Facebook page this morning, and it has already garnered lots of love from Chanel-o-philes.

The video is a tribute to Dadaist photog Erwin Blumenfeld, who shot tons of Vogue covers during his career, using collaging and other techniques in that pre-Photoshop era of the 30s and 40s.

While the video is generally a crowd-pleaser, there's one controversial moment at 0:45--is the woman in the voice-over saying, "Men hate women who read?" or "Men hate women who reek?" The commenters couldn't figure it out and neither can we. What do you think? We're pretty sure men hate red lipstick, too, but it looks gorgeous and who cares what men think, anyhow. Slather on that scarlet mouth and pick up War and Peace, ladies. Coco would want you to.

UPDATE: So, a commenter helped us out and let us know that she's actually saying "Men hate women who weep." It's a quote from Coco.
