We had a feeling Marc Jacobs was on to something when he sent those massive fluffy Jamiroquai-inspired hats down his fall 2012 the runway--but we didn't quite know the extent of that mad hatter's premonition (dramatic pause) ...until now.

In the wee hours of the morning, we were tweet-greeted not only with an image of Gaga's much anticipated September Vogue cover, but also this bonus shot of our Lady donning an enormous, feathery, hot pink Stephen Jones for Marc Jacobs chapeau and not much else. The photo and styling looked a little familiar. Back in January, Mother Monster struck a similar pose in a similarly monstrous topper on the cover of Vanity Fair! Though that time, Gagaloo donned Atelier Versace. And just last week, Harper's Bazaar released its September issue cover featuring a sultry looking Gwen Stafani bedecked in, what else? A giant pink hat (from Alexis Mabille's couture collection).

So...in a fashion war waged between Gaga on VF vs. Gaga on Vogue vs. Gwen on HB, whose topper comes out on top?
