We couldn't help but notice how great 98 Degrees looked this morning when they performed on the Today Show. Like, really great. Naturally, our first reaction involved Googling pictures of these super smooth heartthrobs who captivated our middle school years before they pretty much lost their cool factor (and fan base) by succumbing to the late '90s Latin invasion (See: "Give Me Just One Night (Una Noche)"...ya, we've tried to forget too).

But what we found wasn't pretty. Over the last decade-or-so, we'd somehow managed to mentally block out the fact that these guys who featured so heavily in all of our friendship collages and daydreams looked and dressed um...not good. Like secretly-take-a-Twit-pic bad. Anyway what we're getting at is that Nick, Jeff, Justin, and even little Drew have all seriously improved in the style department, and probably really miss the days prior to Google Images. Just sayin'. [Ed. note: Or it was just the '90s--remember how hot the "butt cut" was?]

So we decided to take a look at some of the other recently revived boy bands (man-bands?) and compare their unique styles, then and now. We're talking New Kids, Boyz II Men, and Back Street, too. And apologies in advance, ladies... *NSYNC insists it ain't happening. Enjoy!
