Following her fairly recent gender reassignment surgery, the fashion world's most prominent (and gorgeous) transgender model Lea T.'s career is still going strong. She popped up on the last day of Milan Fashion Week yesterday, opening and closing Philipp Plein. According to Vogue Italia, she had an exclusive with the Swiss designer.

The first look featured the leggy Brazilian in a printed crop top, high-waisted shorts number complete with bold accessories and a catwalk ciggie a la Kate Moss (whom she's kissed). She closed the show in a black gown with embellished bodice and plenty of fierce necklaces.

Lea T. openly went under the knife last year. She discussed the magnitude of her journey with Oprah saying, "When you start the hormones, it's really, really hard. It's not a game. Your body starts to change in a short time." She made her first post-op runway appearance in Sao Paulo this May.

Not that her career wasn't going well before the surgery. Over the last few years she has been embraced by the fashion world, having been discovered by Givenchy designer Riccardo Tisci and appeared in magazines like Vogue Paris and Love.

Considering how amazing she looked yesterday, her future looks pretty bright as well.
