The Clothes: If you know anything about Ashish, you know that his collections will invariably involve sequins–and lots of them. This one was no exception. In fact, one oversized t-shirt featured 12,407. Besides sequins on everything, there was also a number print motif. Shirts and sweatshirts were backless, and everything was mismatched and lopsided. Hems were uneven, and pants–loose mom jeans and track pants–had mismatched legs. The whole show felt purposely askew–and sporty. The models all wore shiny white Reeboks.

What the Line Sheets Said: “Cool, calm but highly uncollected, Ashish’s S/S13 heroine has her mind set on loftier pursuits. She’s an archetypal math geek, more concerned with quadratic equations than the number of ply in a cashmere sweater.”

The Hair and Makeup: Hair was put up in a lopsided topknot and tied with enormous, sequined scrunchies. Girls wore geeky square glasses and bubble gum pink lips.
