The Clothes: Sexy. Architectural. Intellectual. Designer Francisco Costa served up the sexy (in a subtle, minimalist way, of course) for his spring collection for Calvin Klein. The first look out, a black satin cocktail dress, had a conical bustier--which we'd see again and again throughout the collection. It sounds Madonna/Gaultier but it wasn't--it was restrained and away from the body, as was the whole collection. Costa kept the collection to a limited palette of black and white (ok, I guess there was maybe an ecru in the mix) and played with texture: "abstract lace" caged cocktail dresses and there were shiny sheer panels on silk and satin dresses. The last collection of the week, it was also one of the best.

The Hair & Makeup: Hair was messy and down, parted to the side, and tucked behind the ears. Models had strong brows, peachy lips, and looked dewy.

The Soundtrack: Electronic.

The Vibe: It was a clusterfuck outside the show space since Calvin Klein shows right in midtown in the Garment District and some big name celebs were in attendance but inside it was all clean and calm and white.

The Front Row: Emma Stone, Amy Adams, Diane Krunger.

Celebrity We'd Most Like to See Wearing this Collection: Diane Kruger, Rooney Mara, Emma Stone, Claire Danes, Cate Blanchett.

WTF Moment: Making it past the barricades on 39th St. to get into the show.
