According to the Hollywood Reporter, she chose a Fall 2012 couture Zuhair Murad frock--and it was not demure. It was lacy, transparent and covered with embroidered flowers.

She wore her hair half up/half down and secured it with a hairpiece. THR made a point of mentioning that she wore her hair away from her face and thus, couldn't hide behind it. (Is it sort of like that scene in Gone With the Wind where Rhett makes Scarlett wear a red dress and rouge so she'll really "look the part?") We also noticed that something is different about her face. Her eyebrows seem thicker and lighter and it really makes her face glow.

The New York Times is reporting that K.Stew gamely posed with fans, but was a little mumbly during the Q&A portion of the premiere in the theater. She apparently said something about "love being like a bottomless pit" when asked how she relates to her character in the movie.

She certainly looked amazing. Hopefully she'll dig herself out of that bottomless pit soon.

UPDATE: So we got the scoop from Kristen Stewart's makeup artist, Mai Quynh. Here's what she said:

My inspiration for this look was her dress. It was bold, but delicate while still having a dark edge. I thought it'd be fun to make the focus of this look be a bright lip and wanted to keep her looking fresh and not overly made up. My end goal was to create the illusion that her face was a watercolor painting.
