The Clothes: Girlie and adorable (classic Lauren Moffatt) with a seventies and athletics-inspired edge. There were a lot of quirky prints--polka dots, colorful stripes, and tiny triangle prints--in offbeat color combos. Each look was styled with a vintage badminton racket or vintage bathing caps (for swimwear) and tennis sneakers with a thick flatform sole.

The Hair & Makeup: The girls were fresh-faced with barely-there makeup. Hair was long and loosely curled at the ends or pulled back in a low bun.

The Soundtrack: Classic indie rock.

The Vibe: Moffatt can bring a crowd. The tiny gallery space was jam-packed with trendily dressed industry ladies and general NYC cool girls. So it was a good thing that the presentation used minimal space and props: the models stood on an elevated platform, covered in astro-turf and the occasional badminton birdie.

Celebrity We'd Most Like to See Wearing this Collection: Zooey Deschanel, Tennessee Thomas, Alexa Chung

What the (pregnant) designer (who was holding her adorable daughter, Stella) said: "The inspiration was the classic tennis whites of the sixties and seventies, and the juxtaposition of that with the [aesthetic of the] public pool [of that era]...I design clothes that I'd like to wear, that my friends would like to wear. I love classic colors and classic silhouettes, and then I like to mess them up a bit."
