Anyone who works in the industry has had ‘em: A fashion week related nightmare. We asked designers, editors and stylists to share theirs with us, and then we asked our friend (and super talented artist) Mara Sprafkin illustrate them. Don’t be scared…

Yesterday the Vena Cava girls told us about their Western-meets-S+M fashion show for hamsters. This week former Fashionista editor and current executive editor of LuckyMag.com Lauren Sherman recounts her nightmare about birthing quadruplets in the middle of a Gap spring preview!

So last week, I had a dream that I was pregnant with quadruplets. The first two came out really easily—I was shocked and relieved by how easy it was to give birth!—and they were pretty big babies. I'd say about as big as a 5 month old in real life. The third one wasn't budging, so I went to the Gap Spring 2013 preview to walk it off. The presentation was in a warehouse with cement floors, very Meatpacking District. I ran into my boss Maura there, and I think Matthew Bires and Travis Martin from KCD were there too. Eventually the third baby came out. Then I began waiting for the fourth to make its debut. (By the way, where these babies went after I birthed them, I do not know.)

At this point in the dream it didn't even look like I was pregnant. People at the preview were like, "What, you're pregnant? I can't believe how good you look?!"

I was getting pretty annoyed, you know, having to wait for the fourth baby to come out. But it never did. I woke up.
