The Clothes: The Habana inspiration was evident throughout this summery, print heavy collection. The use of stars, palm trees and flamingos offered a playful vibe and didn't feel gimmicky. The clothes were girly and fairly polished, but the choice of white, platform Supergas kept the looks youthful and relaxed. Hemlines fell at or below the knee and silhouettes were a bit 50s with mostly nipped-in waists. Blazers were thrown over a few looks and lent a masculine, tailored touch. My favorite look was a faded, floral wallpaper print outfit with a minty green blazer.

The Hair & Makeup: According to the designer, the idea for the hair was "Frida Kahlo goes to Habana for the weekend." There were do-rags braided onto the head and hair was pulled back loosely. The makeup was minimal and dewy with a pop of color on the lip.

The Soundtrack: Rumba drum beats.

The Vibe: Fairly relaxed with plenty of media milling around and nice latin music.

Celebrity We'd Most Like to See Wearing this Collection: Olivia Palermo

What the designer said: "So the inspiration was Habana through the lens of Michael Eastman. She finds these faded wallpaper prints that you'd find in your grandmother's house. We referenced that in our prints, like floral, quirky flamingos, palm trees and the night sky through the stars. I stumbled across these images when researching something else, and that's what I knew I wanted to do for spring. I love the vibrant colors, faded in the scorching sun. I think this season is all about large prints, but faded a bit. It always helps to mix in solids as well."
