The Clothes: Costello Tagliapietra's two specialties--their easy, flattering dresses, and their air-dye techniques--were definitely the focus at their Spring 2013 show. Gorgeous, air-dyed frocks in mottled corals, blues, and greens, with ruching in strategic places--at the waist and lower back--created evening-appropriate looks that yes, looked good on the size 0 models, but would be equally flattering on pretty much any other body type as well.

The Hair & Makeup: Hair was left loose and straight, but slightly mussed. Makeup consisted of a dusting of pink all over--pink lips, pink eyelids and pink cheeks.

The Soundtrack: The MisShapes DJ'ed--'Manhattan' by Cat Power was a particularly good tune they played.

The Vibe: Standard MILK Studios crowd.

The Front Row: Solid industry showing, including Kate Lanphear, Simon Doonan, Dani Stahl, Meredith Melling Burke, and Leigh Lezark.

Celebrity We'd Most Like to See Wearing this Collection: Beyonce!

WTF Moment: The amount of anxiety I felt, sitting across from the impossibly beautiful Leigh Lezark, whose perilously low neckline risked exposing her breasts every time she leaned forward.

What the Line Sheet Said: "BEARHUGSXOXOXOXOXOXOXO" (and coming from the designers, the bear hugs are kind of literal!)
