Show Notes: Kaelen Spring 2013

The Clothes: Chic and classic with '80s touches. This was one of those collections with clothes we'd actually want to wear in our day to day life. The color palette was mostly black and white with some pops of pale yellow. A suit covered with an abstract print, a vertically striped midi-lenth dress, a black and white gown and chic lbd were highlights. The Hair & Makeup: Effortlessly chic, loose ponytails. They all looked like girls who don't need to spend much time on hair and makeup in order too look amazing. The Soundtrack: Slow remixed Robyn with lots of bass.

The Vibe: Pleasantly crowded presentation with a cool mix of people. Somehow, it felt a bit like a party despite being 10:30am.

Celebrity We'd Most Like to See Wearing this Collection: Drew Barrymore or Rachel Bilson

WTF Moment: Nothing really made us go "WTF" but we did go, "omg I have those (Zara Stella McCartney knock-off) shoes" that all the models were wearing!

What the designer said: The collection was inspired by the Jean-Paul Goude book So Far, So Goude, which featured nude photos of Grace Jones.
