The Clothes: Very Americana--but in the sexiest way possible--with lots of sheer polo sweaters, polo dresses, and laced up swimsuits. Cableknit sweaters, menswear inspired blazers in navy, red and white, and a touch of stripes made the collection subtly chic. What was interesting was how Hilfiger covered all aspects of a woman's spring wardrobe--from cableknit sweaters for chillier days, to double-breasted blazers for work, to those sexy swimsuits with gold snap buttons for weekends in Montauk. Dresses came in the form of polos, trapeze dresses in mustards, whimsical rope prints, and varsity silk dresses. Such off-duty style recalled American fashion icons like Jackie O and Lauren Hutton--if the two went on a yacht trip together, that is. But Hilfiger definitely put his own spin on the classic, preppy collection, introducing a new take on the boat shoe and espadrille, which came in the form of sassy flatforms with pops of colors stacked against a clean white heel.
The Hair and Makeup: Subdued and sun-kissed. Hair was parted in the middle and slightly wavy.

WTF Moment: When Kimora Lee Simmons asked if Sanya Richards-Ross had a Twitter handle (doesn't everyone?). The ex-model/entrepreneur then went to her ex-hubby and introduced Richards-Ross. "She won the Olympics, don't you know?" she asked (does she even have to explain?).
